Bilocale in Recoaro Terme

The town sits at the southern edge of the Piccole Dolomiti (the Little Dolomites) with steep limestone ridges and forested slopes within the local 15 km radius. Monte Pasubio and its wartime mule tracks and the Strada delle 52 Gallerie are in the surrounding mountains. Cima Carega / the Carega group and Monte Novegno are part of the nearby pre-Alpine relief visible from the valley. Recoaro Terme is a historical spa town known for its thermal springs and for bottled mineral water sourced locally. Small ski facilities and winter trails serve the Asiago plateau and nearby passes (Campogrosso / Novegno area), reachable by car in roughly 30–45 minutes. The nearest larger service town is Valdagno, a short drive away, with regional train connections, shops and services; Schio and the Asiago plateau are the next nearest towns of size. The area has known WWI history and mountain hiking/climbing routes concentrated in the local ridge systems.
