Mansarda in Brescia

This is the southern fringe of the Brescia plain, with flat to lightly undulating agricultural land and dense road infrastructure around the city. The nearest town of size is Brescia, immediately to the north, with the full services, rail links and historic centre of a provincial capital. Lake Garda lies to the east but outside the 15 km landscape radius, so it affects access rather than the setting itself. The area is known mainly for mixed farming and for being part of the urban-industrial belt south of Brescia.
