The cluster sits on the Brescia plain at the southern edge of Franciacorta, with cultivated lowland around it and the first morainic and vine-covered hills a few kilometres to the north and west. Lake Iseo is the nearest named water, roughly within 15 km, with the southern basin and shore settlements around Iseo and Sulzano forming the main landscape feature of the area.
