Trilocale in Farnese

The cluster lies in the volcanic landscape of the Monti Volsini (Vulsini) area of northern Lazio. The immediate terrain is low volcanic hills with small woodlands, olive groves, vineyards and arable plots typical of the Viterbo province. There are a number of small historic hill towns and villages within about 15 km that supply basic shops and municipal services. The local economy is largely agricultural and rural rather than industrial or touristic. No national-park or UNESCO designation applies to the immediate area.
