Bilocale in Castelcovati

The area is the western Brescian plain between the Oglio river basin and the first rise toward Franciacorta. The nearest named feature within this radius is the Oglio River and its riparian corridor to the west. To the north, within the same local area, are the morainic and vineyard hills of Franciacorta around Rovato, Erbusco and Cologne. Rovato is the nearest town of some size and has a rail station, services and a substantial historic centre; Palazzolo sull'Oglio is also nearby on the river. The area is known for intensive agriculture on the plain and, on the northern side, for Franciacorta wine production.
