Bilocale in Pontevico

This is flat lower Brescian countryside in the Po plain, with fields, drainage canals and scattered farm buildings. The Oglio river runs a few kilometres to the east and the Mella river is also in the wider plain nearby. Manerbio is the nearest town of size, with everyday services and rail access; Brescia is farther north for the full range of urban services and monuments. The area is known for intensive agriculture and dairy farming on the Bassa Bresciana plain.
