Bilocale in Mappano

The area sits on the plain north-west of Turin, with the Stura di Lanzo running through Caselle Torinese and the entrance to the Valli di Lanzo and the Graian Alps within about 15 km to the north-west. La Mandria Regional Park is immediately to the south-east, with enclosed woodland, farmland and the former Savoy estate around the Reggia di Venaria; Venaria Reale and its palace complex are within the same radius and form part of the UNESCO Residences of the Royal House of Savoy. Turin is the nearest large city and Caselle is effectively on its urban edge, with the airport and continuous suburban development shaping the surroundings as much as the riverside and parkland.
