Marmentino - porzione di casa composta da tre unita'

The cluster is in Val Trompia in the Brescian Prealps, with wooded slopes and narrow mountain valleys immediately around it. The Mella river runs down the valley. The area is close to the Maniva plateau and the ski lifts at Maniva are roughly a 30–40 minute drive, depending on the exact starting point and road conditions. Gardone Val Trompia is the nearest larger valley town with everyday services and industry; Brescia is the main city for higher-level services farther down the valley. The upper Val Trompia area is known for mountain pasture, chestnut and beech woods, and the long-standing ironworking and firearms tradition of the valley.
