The cluster is in the upper Val Camonica under the Orobie and Adamello-Presanella mountain groups. The Oglio runs down the valley nearby. The Adamello Regional Park begins a short distance to the east and north, and the high valley around Aprica and Edolo is part of the mountain landscape lived from here. The nearest ski lifts are at Aprica, roughly 10 km away, with a drive of about 15 minutes. Edolo is the nearest town of some size, with secondary schools, hospital services and the rail terminus for the Val Camonica line. This part of the valley is known for alpine pastures, conifer slopes and road access to the Aprica pass between Val Camonica and Valtellina.
