Bilocale all' asta a Pioltello

This is the eastern Milan plain, a flat urban and agricultural area crossed by major roads, rail lines and logistics and industrial zones. The nearest large centre is Milan, with the full range of services, employment, transport and major historic monuments, and much of the area around Pioltello is functionally part of its outer built-up belt. The Adda river corridor lies to the east beyond the immediate urban belt and is the main natural feature of this part of the province. The area is known more for metropolitan infrastructure and commuting than for a distinct local landscape.
