Portofino – Hotel Piccolo, multiproprietà

The cluster sits on the Portofino promontory, whose wooded ridge includes Monte di Portofino rising to roughly 600 m. The coast is the Ligurian Sea, specifically the Gulf of Tigullio. The promontory and immediate coastline are part of the Parco Naturale Regionale di Portofino and include the Area Marina Protetta Portofino. There are no ski lifts within about 15 km; winter sports are off the coast and in the Ligurian Apennines further inland. Nearest towns of size are Santa Margherita Ligure (railway station on the Genoa–La Spezia line, marina and ferry connections) and Rapallo (railway station, marina and local services). Within the park are accessible coastal sites such as the Abbey of San Fruttuoso reachable by foot or by boat. The area is known for its harbour facilities for pleasure boats and for high-profile tourism and yachting.
