The cluster lies in the Fasano area between the Adriatic coast and the inland rise of the Murgia dei Trulli. The coast here includes long sandy stretches around Torre Canne and Savelletri as well as lower rocky sections. The plain inland is planted with olive groves and gives way to the trulli countryside toward Locorotondo, Cisternino and Alberobello. The Parco naturale regionale Dune costiere da Torre Canne a Torre San Leonardo is within this stretch of coast. Fasano is the nearest town of size and has the full set of everyday services; Monopoli and Ostuni are the nearest larger historic centres in the wider area. Alberobello, within this inland trulli zone, is UNESCO-listed for the trulli. This area is known for olive groves, masserie and trulli landscapes.
