Cottian Alps are the enclosing mountain range. The cluster lies in the system of upper valleys of the Val Chisone with the Val Germanasca nearby and the Chisone river running along the main valley floor. Small local ski lifts operate at Prali in Val Germanasca; larger ski complexes are at Pragelato and at Sestriere further up-valley.
