Via Dechiara, 1, Stigliano

Stigliano sits on the southern foothills of the Lucanian Apennines (Appennino Lucano). Terrain within about 15 km is hilly: cultivated fields, olive groves, pasture and small patches of woodland, with small streams and valley floors dissecting the hills. No large lakes or the sea are inside the 15 km radius (the Ionian coast is farther away). There is no national park or UNESCO site within the immediate 15 km area. The immediate settlements are small municipal centres and villages that provide basic services; larger commercial centres and provincial cities lie beyond the 15 km radius and require driving. Land use is locally agricultural, with olive oil production, mixed arable crops and some pastoral activity.
