Trilocale in Località Turrida - Sasso Grande 3

The town sits on a hilltop overlooking the Tiber (Tevere) valley. Within about 15 km the terrain is low wooded hills and agricultural land with olive groves, vineyards and arable fields. The immediate area has local secondary roads and small villages rather than big urban centres. Amelia itself has visible Roman and medieval remains (city walls, historic centre) and supplies local services. There is no major mountain range, large lake or coastal frontage inside the 15 km radius and no ski lifts or nationally prominent protected park in the immediate surroundings; larger Umbrian towns (Terni, Orvieto) and main transport links are outside the local 15 km zone.
