VIA BARCELLONA - LOC RIO SAN GIROLAMO, snc, Capoterra

The cluster is on the coastal plain west of Cagliari at the foot of the Sulcis mountains. The Gulf of Cagliari and the long beach system around La Maddalena Spiaggia and the Santa Gilla lagoon are within the local area. Monte Arcosu and the WWF reserve of the same name lie inland in the Sulcis massif, with Mediterranean forest and wildlife habitat. Cagliari is the nearest city of size, with a port, airport, university and the main services of southern Sardinia. The area is known for lagoon landscapes, beaches on the gulf, and the wooded mountains behind Capoterra.
