Trilocale in Quartu Sant'Elena

The cluster lies in the urban area of Quartu Sant’Elena on the east side of the Cagliari conurbation, so the setting is mainly suburban and coastal-plain rather than a distinct rural landscape. The Sette Fratelli range rises inland to the northeast within this part of southeastern Sardinia. The Poetto shoreline and the Gulf of Cagliari are nearby, and the Molentargius-Saline Regional Park lies between Quartu and Cagliari with lagoons known for birdlife, including flamingos. Cagliari is the nearest city of size, with the full range of services, a port, rail links and the main airport for southern Sardinia. The area is known for the long urban beach system around Poetto and for the salt lagoons behind it.
