Localita' Sa Mura, snc, Elmas

The cluster lies on the Campidano plain near the Stagno di Santa Gilla lagoon, with the Gulf of Cagliari coast about 12 km away. Monte Arcosu and the forested mountains of the Sulcis-Iglesiente are within roughly 15 km to the west and southwest, and the Monte Arcosu WWF oasis is one of the main protected areas close by. Cagliari is the nearest city of size, with a large historic centre, port, airport, universities and full services. The area is known for ceramics at Assemini and for the wetlands and birdlife of the Santa Gilla lagoon.
