Settimo San Pietro - via mara

The cluster lies on the southeast Sardinian plain at the foot of the Sette Fratelli massif. The Flumendosa-Campidano system and the lowland around Sinnai lead east toward the coastal ponds and beaches of the Golfo degli Angeli, with the shore around Solanas and the Villasimius direction within the local area. Much of the inland landscape nearby is tied to the Parco dei Sette Fratelli-Monte Genis, a large forested granite mountain area with wildlife and walking routes. The nearest town of size is Cagliari, which has the main services, port, airport, university and major historic centre for the south of the island. The area is known for the transition from Campidano plain to wooded Sardinian uplands and for access toward the southeast coast.
