Via del Tridente, Nettuno

The cluster is in the Agro Pontino coastal plain near the Tyrrhenian shore. The coast at Nettuno and Anzio is the main landscape feature within 15 km, with long sandy beaches and the port and old centre of Nettuno on the sea. The area also includes the lower edge of the former Pontine marshland, now reclaimed farmland and canals. Anzio is the nearest town of size, with ferry links and coastal services, and Rome is the main city used for higher-order services farther away. Nettuno is known for its seafront and for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces and Saint Maria Goretti.
