Villa a schiera in San Giovanni del Dosso

This is the flat central Po plain, with reclaimed farmland, drainage canals and roads running through a broad agricultural landscape. The Secchia runs nearby to the west, and the Burana canal system crosses this part of the plain. Within the local area the main centre is Mirandola itself, with a substantial historic core, arcaded streets and everyday services. This part of the Modena plain is known for agriculture and for biomedical industry around Mirandola.
