Appartamento in Martinengo

This is the central Bassa Bergamasca, a flat agricultural part of the Po plain with a dense network of irrigation canals and fields. The river Oglio runs nearby to the east, and the Serio and Adda are also part of the wider plain landscape around this area. Bergamo is the nearest larger city, with the Città Alta, major services and rail connections. The medieval walled centre of Romano di Lombardia is known locally for its fortress and arcaded streets.
