The area is the Trexenta, a low hilly agricultural zone of central-southern Sardinia with fields, olive groves and small villages. The Flumendosa river system lies to the east of this part of the province, but around Senorbì the immediate landscape is mainly inland farmland rather than a marked river or mountain setting.
