Quadrilocale in Borgata Combravino

The lower Val di Susa begins here at the foot of the Cottian Alps. The Lago Grande di Avigliana and Lago Piccolo di Avigliana are within the area. The Parco Naturale dei Laghi di Avigliana covers the lakes and surrounding marsh and woodland. The nearest ski lifts are in the upper Val di Susa, around Sauze d'Oulx and Cesana Torinese, roughly an hour or more by road, so they are outside the immediate landscape. Turin is the nearest large city, with the services of a regional capital, and Susa is the nearest historic valley town. Avigliana is known for its lakes and for the Sacra di San Michele on Mount Pirchiriano just outside the town.
