Quadrilocale in Zona Babbaurra, Zona Babbaurra, San Cataldo

The area is inland central Sicily, with cultivated hills and badland-like clay slopes in parts of the Caltanissetta countryside. Caltanissetta is the nearest town of size, with the province’s main services, rail connections and a substantial historic centre. This part of the interior is known for grain farming and for the former sulphur-mining landscape of central Sicily.
