Appartamento in Teano

Monte Maggiore and the northern side of the Monti Trebulani are the main relief close to Teano. The area sits in an inland agricultural basin and low hill country between the Volturno plain and the first Campanian Apennine foothills. The Roccamonfina volcanic massif and the Parco Regionale di Roccamonfina e Foce Garigliano are within roughly this range to the northwest, with chestnut woods on the extinct volcano. The nearest larger town is Caserta, which has the Royal Palace and the main provincial services. Teano is known historically for the 1860 meeting between Garibaldi and Vittorio Emanuele II.
