Trilocale in Rocca d'Evandro

The cluster is in the upper Garigliano valley at the foot of the Monte Camino massif, with the southern edge of the Aurunci area close by. The Garigliano river runs through this part of the province. The Roccamonfina-Foce Garigliano Regional Park lies nearby and covers the volcanic massif and lower river plain to the west. Roccamonfina is the main named natural feature in the area, an extinct volcanic mountain with chestnut woods and hill villages around it. Cassino is the nearest larger town, with full services, rail links and the abbey of Montecassino on the hill above the town. The area is known for chestnuts on the Roccamonfina side and for the Garigliano valley farmland.
