The cluster sits on the inland hills north of the Campanian plain, in the area between the Monte Maggiore massif and the Volturno valley. The Volturno river runs nearby to the north. The nearest larger town is Capua, which has rail services, shops and everyday services, and Caserta is the main city for higher-order services. This part of inland Caserta is known for mixed farmland, olive groves and small hill villages, with Roman and medieval remains scattered across the wider area around Capua and the Monti Trebulani.
