The cluster is in the volcanic hills of Monte Santa Croce and Monte Camino on the Campania-Lazio border. The Garigliano river valley is nearby, and the coast of the Gulf of Gaeta is around 18 km away but not inside the immediate landscape. The Roccamonfina-Foce Garigliano Regional Park covers this area, with chestnut woods, volcanic ground and cultivated slopes around Galluccio and nearby villages. Roccamonfina, the extinct volcano that shapes this part of northern Campania, is within the local area. The nearest larger centres for daily services are Sessa Aurunca and Cassino. The area is known for chestnuts, woodland and Falerno wine on the volcanic slopes.
