Bilocale in Motta Sant'Anastasia

Mount Etna rises to the north and is the dominant landform of this part of the Catania plain. The Simeto river runs nearby across the plain. The cluster lies on the western side of the built-up Catania area, in lowland country of roads, logistics sites and cultivated land around the airport corridor. Paternò is the nearest larger town inland, and Catania is close by with the full services of a provincial capital and airport. Motta Sant'Anastasia is known for its Norman tower on a volcanic neck above the plain.
