Bilocale in Badolato

The cluster is on the Ionian side of Calabria below the Serre Calabresi, with steep inland hills rising quickly from the coast. The Torrente Gallipari cuts a narrow valley here before reaching the Ionian Sea. The nearest larger centre is Soverato, which has beaches, a marina, shops and rail connections along the coast. Badolato is known for its preserved hill village and has been associated with hospitality projects for refugees and migrants. Within this stretch of coast there are long beaches and low modern seaside development at Badolato Marina, while the inland setting is a farmed and wooded hill landscape rather than a single protected or nationally named scenic feature.
