Quadrilocale in via dei Carri Nord, Sersale

The cluster is in the eastern Calabrian hill country between the Sila foothills and the Ionian side. The Sila plateau rises inland to the west and northwest, but the main immediate feature here is the valley system cut by the Alli and Crocchio rivers. The Valli Cupe area lies by Sersale, with narrow gorges, waterfalls and wooded ravines protected as a regional reserve. The Ionian coast is nearby, with the nearest larger urban centre at Catanzaro, which has the province’s main services and rail links on the coast and the regional capital uphill. This part of Calabria is known for chestnut and olive landscapes in the inland hills and for the canyon scenery around Sersale.
