Monolocale in Cropani

The cluster is on the Ionian side of Calabria between the coastal plain and the first hills of the Sila foothills. The Ionian coast is within a few kilometres, with long sandy shoreline around Cropani Marina, Sellia Marina and Botricello. The Sila Piccola lies inland to the west, but the main forest and plateau landscape is farther than the immediate 15 km radius. Catanzaro is the nearest city of size, with services, rail links and the regional administrative functions. This stretch of coast is known for beach tourism, citrus and olive cultivation, and the contrast between marina settlements on the plain and older hill villages inland.
