Trilocale in Catanzaro

This is in the built-up area of Catanzaro, on the Ionian side between the Gulf of Squillace coast and the inland hills. The Corace valley is part of the local landscape, and the Sila uplands rise farther inland but outside the immediate 15 km setting. Catanzaro is the nearest town of size and has the full set of city services, a historic centre on ridges and ravines, and the Magna Graecia university campus in the wider urban area. The coast here is a line of beaches and modern seaside development around Catanzaro Lido rather than a protected or distinctive cliff landscape. The area is known as an administrative and service centre for central Calabria.
