Contrada Piane San Pantaleone, 46, Miglianico

The cluster sits on the low hills between the Adriatic coast and the first rises toward the Maiella massif, with the mountain range visible in clear weather but outside the immediate 15 km landscape. The Foro river runs nearby and reaches the Adriatic at Francavilla al Mare. Within roughly 15 km are the coast at Francavilla al Mare and Ortona, with beaches and a working port. Chieti is the nearest larger town, with a substantial historic centre, services, a university presence and museums. The area is known for vineyards and olive groves in the coastal hills, including Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wine production.
