Contrada Vallone Vecchio, snc, Celenza sul Trigno

The area is in the Trigno valley with low inland Abruzzo hills and cultivated ridges. The Trigno river runs nearby and marks the border with Molise in this stretch. This is a dispersed rural landscape of fields, olive groves and small hill villages. Within about 15 km the nearest larger centre is San Salvo, which has the main concentration of shops and services for this part of the lower Trigno area. The coast is outside the immediate radius, so the setting is inland rather than seaside. The area is known locally for olive growing and mixed farming.
