Contrada Cese bis, 4, Bucchianico

The cluster sits on the lower hills between the Maiella massif and the Adriatic, in the farmed ridge-and-valley landscape typical of inland Chieti. The Foro and Alento valleys are part of the local terrain, and the Maiella is the main mountain presence within this radius. The nearest larger town is Chieti, which has a substantial historic centre and daily services; Pescara is also close for major retail, rail links and the airport, but outside the immediate landscape. The area is known for olive groves, vineyards and mixed hill farming.
