Trilocale in Vasto

The cluster is on the Adriatic coast around Vasto, with beaches and low cliffs at Vasto Marina and Punta Aderci. The Punta Aderci Regional Nature Reserve lies just north of town, protecting a stretch of dune, beach and promontory coast on the mouth of the Sinello. The town stands above the sea on a ridge with an old centre and a belvedere over the gulf, and Vasto is the nearest town of size with full daily services, a port area and a hospital. The Costa dei Trabocchi begins to the north, with the traditional fishing platforms that are characteristic of this part of the Abruzzo coast. Inland within short distance the landscape turns to cultivated hills and river valleys rather than mountains.
