Casa a Vasto Marina

The Adriatic coast is within the local area, with the beach strip of San Salvo Marina and the mouth of the Trigno nearby. This is the southern Abruzzo littoral: flat coastal ground backed by low cultivated hills rather than a mountain setting. The nearest larger centre is Vasto, which has a substantial historic town on a bluff above the sea, a marina and everyday services. The area is known for seaside tourism, agriculture on the coastal plain and hill slopes, and the port-industrial zone around the lower coast.
