Contrada Balzata n., 111, Rogliano

The cluster is in the Savuto valley on the inland side of the Catena Costiera Calabra, with wooded hills and lower Apennine ridges around it. The Savuto river valley is the main local landform. Sila National Park is farther east and outside the immediate 15 km landscape. The nearest town of size is Cosenza, which has the provincial capital’s services, rail connections and a large historic centre. This part of Calabria is known for hill villages, chestnut and olive country, and for routes crossing between the Tyrrhenian side and the interior.
