Via Via Eduardo De Filippo, 24, Cariati

The cluster is on the Ionian coast of Calabria, with a seafront and beaches directly at Cariati. The historic centre of Cariati stands on a hill just above the shore and is enclosed by walls. The area is part of the long cultivated coastal strip of the lower Cosenza Ionian side, with olive groves and citrus in the plain and the Sila rising inland to the west. Rossano and Corigliano, the main urban centres of this stretch of coast, are within daily practical reach and provide larger services, shopping and hospitals. This part of the coast is known for seaside tourism and for olive oil and citrus production.
