Bilocale in Corigliano-Rossano

The cluster is in the Sibari plain on the Ionian coast, with long low beaches and reclaimed agricultural land around it. The Crati river and its delta are the main natural feature of this stretch of coast. Inland, within this part of northern Calabria, the foothills rise toward the Pollino massif, and the edge of Pollino National Park is within reach of the upper municipal territory around Cassano. Sibari is the nearest centre of note on the coast, known for the archaeological area of Sybaris. Corigliano-Rossano is the nearest larger urban centre with wider services, rail connections and a port area. This part of Calabria is known for citrus, olive groves and the archaeological remains of Magna Graecia on the plain.
