Trilocale in Falconara Albanese

The Tyrrhenian coast is at the foot of the settlement, with beaches and the coastal strip of the Riviera dei Cedri immediately below the historic centre. The Coastal Range of Calabria rises directly inland, so the area shifts quickly from shore to wooded slopes and hill villages within a short distance. The lower Savuto valley is nearby. Paola is the nearest larger town with rail connections, services and the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola. Fiumefreddo Bruzio is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia. This stretch of coast is known for old centres set above the Tyrrhenian and for cedar cultivation farther along the coast.
