Via OLIVELLA, 72, Tarsia

The cluster sits in the Crati valley plain with low cultivated hills around it. The Crati River runs through this part of the province, and the artificial Lake of Tarsia lies nearby within the same local landscape. This is inland northern Calabria between the Pollino foothills to the north and the Sila massifs farther east, but the main setting within 15 km is agricultural valley land rather than mountain terrain. The nearest larger town is Castrovillari, which provides the main services, shops and hospital for this part of the area. This part of the province is known for arable farming and olive groves.
