Contrada Scivolenta Snc, snc, Sant'Agata di Esaro

The cluster lies in the foothills of the Pollino massif. The Rosa and Esaro valleys are the main local landforms here, with mixed hills, wooded slopes and cultivated ground. Pollino National Park begins nearby and the higher mountains of the range are close to the east. The nearest substantial town is Castrovillari, which has the main services, shops and hospital for this part of northern Calabria. This area is known for mountain villages, woodland and access routes between the Tyrrhenian side and the Pollino interior.
