Trilocale in Santa Maria del Cedro

The cluster is on the north Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, with the Riviera dei Cedri and the Tyrrhenian Sea within the local landscape. The Coastal Range rises inland within this radius, so the area is a short coastal plain backed by steep hills. The Lao River valley and the edge of the Pollino massif are nearby inland, and the Pollino National Park begins a short distance to the east. Scalea is the nearest larger seaside town, with a rail station, marina and a substantial old centre on a hill. Diamante is nearby on the same coast and is known for mural-painted streets and for cedro cultivation in this stretch of coast. This part of Calabria is known for cedro groves, beaches and the contrast between coast and mountains.
