Via Esaro, 17, Spezzano Albanese

The cluster lies in the lower Esaro valley on the inland side of the Plain of Sibari, with cultivated low hills and broad valley farmland. The Pollino massif rises to the north within this wider area, and the southern edge of Pollino National Park is within about 15 km around Castrovillari. The nearest larger town is Castrovillari, which has the main services for the area and is the gateway town for the Pollino side of northern Calabria. The area is known for agriculture linked to the Sibari plain, especially olive groves and fruit growing.
