Viale della Repubblica - Via Petrarella, snc, Bisignano

The area sits in the Crati valley with the Coastal Range of Calabria to the west and the first Sila foothills to the east. The Crati river runs through this part of the province. Pollino National Park is farther north and not within the immediate 15 km landscape. The nearest town of size is Cosenza-Rende, which has the main provincial services, rail connections and the university area. Bisignano is known locally for its old hilltop centre and for traditional craft production, especially ceramics and stringed instruments.
