Localita' Sacciardi snc, snc, Nocara

The cluster sits in the foothills above the Ionian side of the Pollino area, with the southern Apennines forming the inland backdrop. The Raganello and Sarmento valleys are part of the wider landscape of this corner of northern Calabria, and the Ionian coast is nearby at Roseto Capo Spulico. Pollino National Park begins inland and the park landscape dominates this part of the province, with mountain roads climbing toward the Pollino and Monte Sparviere areas. The nearest larger centre for everyday services is Trebisacce on the coast, with shops, schools and rail access; Castrovillari is the main inland town of size farther west. This area is known for hill villages, olive groves and the transition from the coastal strip to the Pollino foothills.
