Quadrilocale in Sp34, 227, Guardia Piemontese

The cluster is on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, with beaches directly on the sea and the Coastal Range of the Paolana Catena rising a short distance inland. The area is associated with the thermal waters of Terme Luigiane on the Acquappesa–Guardia Piemontese side. Guardia Piemontese, just inland, is known for its Occitan Waldensian heritage and is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia. The nearest larger town is Paola, which has rail connections, services and the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola. The coast here is part of the Riviera dei Cedri, known for citrus cultivation and seaside resorts.
